The Bath House Pump Room is the quintessential venue for exclusive cocktail functions and formal dinners. The Bath House building, home to Rotorua Museum, is an architectural landmark and is recognised as the city’s signature throughout New Zealand.
Opened in 1908, the Bath House attracted visitors from around the world, lured by Rotorua’s curative waters. By day visitors bathed in the thermal baths and received a variety of treatments. Evenings were a time for relaxation and entertainment.
The Pump Room (foyer and mezzanine area) was the focal point for social occasions. The Pump Room features a spectacular high ceiling, detailed plaster mouldings, finely crafted native timber fixtures and a stunning outlook over the Government Gardens.
